Are you thinking about investing in a hot tub for your holiday let?
A hot tub can seem like a great idea, but they can also come as quite an investment, and you might be wondering what benefits they can really bring to your guests. Holiday let owners usually ask me: “Will they appreciate it?” or: “Will they even use it?”
At least, in my experience as a holiday let owner, guests love a hot tub! And if you provide it, the chances are, they will come and enjoy the latest addition to your property – which also has lots of great benefits they’ll love!
Below, I’m going to tell you some of the best ways your guests could benefit from a hot tub.
1. A little bit of luxury
Holidays are all about making amazing memories, spending quality time with each other, and just generally relaxing – and what better way to do that than with a luxury hot tub? Your guests can feel like they’re really treating themselves! And who doesn’t love a bit of luxury every so often?

2. A great way to relax
After a long day exploring, sightseeing or cycling, a nice long soak in a hot tub can feel like one of the best things in the world – trust me! It’s the perfect way for your guests to wind down and reflect on their day – or help feel refreshed in the morning for another day of a fantastic getaway!
3. Fantastic health benefits
The hydrotherapy a hot tub can provide is great for easing aches and pains, as well as helping all sorts of ailments, including arthritis, stress, headaches, diabetes, muscle and joint injuries, Bursitis, tendonitis, scoliosis and fibromyalgia.
4. A good night’s sleep
Soaking in a bath or hot tub before bed can help to increase your body temperature and boost relaxation, leading to near perfect conditions for a great night’s sleep – and a good night’s sleep means an even better holiday!
According to the National Sleep Foundation, “soaking in hot water before retiring to bed can ease the transition into deeper sleep”. However, you should get out the tub at least an hour before bed, so you don’t go to sleep too hot!
By now, you should have a better idea of some of the fantastic benefits a hot tub could bring to your guests – and I can assure you most of them WILL make use of it if you’re able to provide one!
