Its 12th Century Red Stone Abbey sits proud and now silent on the banks of the River Jed belying its once turbulent past. The Dromore is just off the main A68 and is an ideal place to break up a journey or to relax and unwind.  A warm welcome awaits you from the owners who are right next door and on hand to assist.

The property sits in an elevated position overlooking the town and offers beautifully presented accommodation comprising:

Open plan Living room and kitchen with views over the garden and the town beyond. The living room has  table and chairs for dining, overlooking the garden, TV with free view and DVD player. The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge, oven and hob, microwave and coffee machine. Here you will find everything you need to make that much needed drink on arrival.

Bedroom with double bed and fitted wardrobes. Anti allergy duvet and pillows. Bed linen provided.  Travel cot and high chair are available by prior arrangement. An alarm clock wont be necessary as you will awake to a chorus of bird song in the summer months.

Shower room with towels provided.

Large store for golf clubs, fishing rods etc

Separate utility room with dishwasher and washing machine.

Fully enclosed garden with seating area for dining out in the summer months and lovely views across the town. Private parking available and secure dry storage for cycles and motorbikes.

The property is set in large garden grounds in a quiet leafy area with just  a short walk to the town centre . The property is totally non smoking both within the house and the gardens.Sorry no pets allowed. We are on hand right next door with a warm welcome typical of the Scottish Borders and will do everything we can to ensure you have a wonderful holiday.

Important booking information.
A 25% non-refundable deposit is required to confirm your booking with the balance of payment being due six weeks prior to arrival. Where bookings are made less than six weeks in advance, full payment is due at the time of booking and no refund will be made if a subsequent cancellation occurs. We suggest that you take out holiday cancellation insurance to cover this risk.
